Children and Young adults books in Spanish 2021-22

For more than 175 years, Macmillan Education has been producing innovative resources and books for young readers and learning facilitators to stimulate minds and support lifelong personal development. The wide range and constant diversification of our collection is a testament to our commitment to education. This has positioned Macmillan Education as an authentically global company, operating in more than 120 countries across five continents, and a multicultural network focused on developing ideas, spreading knowledge, and sharing the best education practices. Macmillan Education currently belongs to Springer Nature, making it a member of a large family of publishing houses specializing in education, science, and research. Backed by more than 40 years of experience, Ediciones Castillo has been part of this ef fort since 2004, when it merged with Macmillan. Our publications are recognized internationally for their high literary and curricular standards, as well as for their focus on critical thinking and inclusiveness. These qualities have led to our books frequently being included in the Honor List of recommended titles for children, compiled by the International Board of Books for Young People (IBBY), a reference for parents, librarians, and teachers all around the world (see p. 5). In addition, some of our titles have been selected several occasions by Cuatrogatos Foundation to take part in their annual guide of best books originally published in Spanish. Indeed, Kitsunebi, fuego de zorro received the Cuatrogatos Foundation Prize during the 2020 award season. Presentation 2
